You do not have to take the bed off. I did mine by myself as well. I un-did the bed bolts at the rear, lifted each side and wedged it up just enough for the hitch assembly to clear.

Thanks mopar78,thats the plan for me as well to just loosen the front and undo the back and wedge a block of wood in there then rip that hitch out,lol i may even do a video on it,lol

thats what i did loosen the front... undo the back and put wood between the bed and the frame

Yeah, if you're not careful it will pull the wheels at 140mph too. LOL. It's a handful that's for sure.

ive got an 07 cbr1000rr... ive never dyno'd it but i have stood it up at 122!! ahahahah stunters rule!
