Anybody else get bad fuel milage?
In my 04 1500 Dodge Ram 5.7L, I get 11-12 mpg in town driving. My uncle has same truck, but his is Red, he gets 16-18. Only mods done to my truck is winter tires, and air bag suspension on the back. Is it possibly something with my gearing? I used the search function but failed to get the answer I was after.
Ahh alright thanks man, I know fuel milage isnt going to be awesome driving a truck. It comes with wanting to beable to haul all your toys when you need too. Just curious if anybody had a solution, if it was perhaps somethign wrong with the 04's.
i wish i could get what ur uncle gets. i get 14 tops on the highway if im absolutely babying it and i get between 11 and 12.5 around town. it really sucks but what are we gonna do we drive trucks. I have 33" mud grapplers with heavy *** rockstar wheels which doesnt help at all
I'm cornfused, you say your uncle's is the SAME truck, but then state it may be an issue with the '04s. Is it that perhaps your uncles is a newer model, like an '06 with MDS perhaps???
Also, I'm guessing that being your uncle, he's prolly a good bit older, and drives a little less aggressively...
