Hey Sarram
Can I plug in my question here? Is really similar to yours so I don't want to start a new thread.
Thank You
On Monday I will order a tune-up kit for my 98 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 5.9 V8. What brand you guys recommend to me?

sarram- what motor you got? if you have the hemi, just go with the oem champion copper plugs... for some reason the hemi really likes these plugs, and theyre cheap which is nice since you need 16. i put champion platinums in mine and havent had any problems tho...
if its a 4.7... i dont know, but you cant go wrong with oem
pysiek- although there are some 5.9 guys here, you would probably get a much better response over in the second gen section... a lot more 5.9's over there. remember to use the search function

I would recommend E3's. According to the Horsepower guys, they not only boost HP but also improve your MPG's as well. They're a lil pricey, I think something like $5 each, but with gains like that, it's well worth it.
I will tell you what not to buy, that is Bosch plugs. They DO NOT work well in Domestic vehicles. They work really well in my wife's Honda Fit though. They tend to like Imports a lot more.
Try the E3's, if you can't find them, I currently am running Split Fire's. IDK, I think they burn a lil hotter then the NGK's and the Champion's. I used to run them in my bike, but they would foul out to quick. So I had to switch back to NGK's on it. But the truck has been doing just fine on the Split Fire's. Put like 46K on them, not a single glitch......Knock on wood of course. Now that I said it, I'm gonna have problems tomorrow with em. LOL.
Just my .02 of course.

Well, those E3's were comparison tested by the guys on Horsepower TV, and the plugs not only boosted HP but they gained a few MPG's as well. It was done on an engine dyno though.
IDK about hemi's not liking the, or not. That I will leave for you guys with them. LOL. I was just recommending plugs that I use or plan on using.
As for Splitfire's being "sucker plugs", umm don't know bout that one. LOL. My bike sure liked them a heck of a lot better then the NGK's. Only for a few 1/4 mile passes though. But then again that's a bike engine though, it fouled them out quick. My truck, like I said, has enjoyed them problem free for 46K mi.
