Just trade your truck for a Cummins,then put a programmer and a few other tweaks on it,you'll be making real power and probably end up spending less money.

Thought about that one as well, but with the cost of ownership being so high for a person who doesn't need a diesel for anything other then a toy......it wouldn't be feasible for me at this time. LOL.

But your right about it being easier to mod a diesel. LOL. Shoot with just a power programmer you can free up like 150hp and 300lb/ft of torque. LOL.

^^^ true that. I want to make my truck just as quick as a diesel.. but while im dishing out thousands of dollars they just spend like 200 bucks.. LOL.

you tryin to make your truck run with your streetbike? Lol

That would be nice eh? LOL. I'm looking to build something original that nobody else has done. N in doing that I end up with a full size quad cab pickup that runs 9's in the quarter, eh, so be it. LOL. But, seriously, I just want a truck that will surprise the hell out of your average Vette' owner, or Viper owner for that matter. LOL.

u ever considered keeping your 4.7.. but making it manual?

Anyone know if B&M or some other company makes a shift kit or a manual valve body I could install in the trans?
