Glove box sticker ?
Hey guys, I bought a Ram p/u back in August and have one thing that's bothering me. The Rear end. I'm pretty sure the gears are 392's but would think the truck would have a limited slip rear. The sticker was removed from the inside of the glove box. There is a little bit of residue left.
Any one got a pic of what this sticker would look like ?
Thanks

i dont have one either but the best way to test that out is what i did go out in a field and see if it will do a perfect donut to the left and right... i thought my truck would have a limited slip rear end too cause it is a sport edition but low and behold its an open diff... i was pretty mad

Call a dealer with your VIN and they can tell you. Mine has the 3.92's and a Limited Slip, but I can put one wheel on the gravel and one on the pavement and spin the crap out of the one on the gravel. My durango was the same way. I was never impressed with the LSD on these trucks......Maybey its not working right?

My LSD works pretty well. Butch, I don't see any clutch pack retainers. I suspect that's a peg-leg.
Anyway, if you put one wheel on slippery and one on a dry surface and punch it, it'll spin. It's LIMITED slip, not NO slip.
Here's a pic of the clutch pack retainers (the infamous "c-clip")

Ok thanks guys. I just figured with the Big horn package and the Hemi it would have been a no brainer to get a LS.
I've done a burn out and got both to spin, leaving dual marks, but otherwise it's a one wheel spin type.
FYI I had a Chevy 2500 before this. That was a bit harsh, but worked damn good, imo.

theres the link for a build sheet. get one. its free, and only takes a day or two. it will tell you exactly what your truck is equipped with.
