Default CV Joints at "Extreme angle"??

Hey guys, I took my truck in to get it aligned after cranking the t-bars and the guy told me that the cv joints were at an "extreme" angle

from what i read on here, just leveling the truck won't cause this issue. i cranked the bars about 1.5". the cv's do look pretty angled, and the boots are kinda stretched

i figure that at almost 100,000 miles i'm gunna need cv joints eventually so i'm not too worried about it...

any of you other leveld guys look at your cvs? are they at an "extreme" angle? or am i just paranoid?

THANKS!!

Yeah it would be good because some people have different definitions of extreme angles who knows it could be legit or not legit. Truck is looking great man you really hit the nail on the head with the look your going for.

thanks hemiguy, that means a lot

and i know what you mean by different definitions... i figured the guy was just being over cautious, but when i looked under there, DAM, they look extreme to me. either way, it isnt coming down unless i start eating cv joints. lol.

If your joint look anything like mr. butch had in the first pics in that thread get under there and de crank some because carnage ill happen. If they are less more like the second set of pics in there you should be ok. Things like this make me so happy about my SFA. Hopefully you can resolve this.

Well if it makes any difference i have an 03' as well and I got it leveled. The CV's on mine are about what they were stock or pretty close. Thought it might help a little.

Im just going to run my truck leveled and when things start to have issues I am just going to throw all the money into a full 6 inch lift kit and new cv's, and whatever else needs to be replaced.
