well adding another truck to the driveway
My dad just bought a 2002 ford f350 crew cab long bed 7.3 POWERSTROKE 4x4 diesel. Fully loaded. The guy was very **** and had towels over the seats, used a winshield cover, and washed the thing once a week. Overall the nicest and cleanest 2002 truck I have seen with only 100k miles on it. It's even the 7.3 so the thing is bullet proof with a aftermarket torque converter and a hand full of other mods which did NOT improve hp but durability. But since my truck doesn't have to tow our 25ft toy hauler, I plan on putting lowering shackles on the rear to give it that pre runner look. I have airbags just incase i have to tow anything.

That's a heck of a truck he got there. My friend has a 03(I think) 7.3L Dually crew cab 4x4. Beautiful truck. He recently took a trip to a national go-cart race (his sone is a state champion) and coming back towing a 26' enclosed trailer full of carts, parts and tool boxes, that thing got 19mpg. The 7.3 wasn't the most powerful Powerstroke, but was the most reliable.

Never understood why people go as far to cover the seats. Keep the seats clean for whom? The next buyer? Frig that....lol
The seat covers get just as dirty as the seats would....
I have gone through this same thing with my father. He'll buy a brand new truck and put seat covers on it. They stay on till the truck gets traded in????? Why not just get the upholstry steamed at that point.
I understand people like to keep things nice, but there's a limit to the point of ridiculous where your not even fully enjoying what you own. This would include plastic on the couch..lmao
Rant end.

I just like the looks of the truck sitting an inch higher in the front, there's a difference between looking beaner and pre runner. I had a boat hooked up to the truck and the rear end was down but since i have 34" tires it just looked very rugged. It is just my taste. But the truck does have a programmer, k&n filter, 4" exhaust but somehow came from the factory without a CAT.

My buddy has a 2000 F350 with the 7.3, Chipped out (+100hp) Magnaflow exhaust, Aftermarket Supercharger, He is pushing 500hp! That thing is sweet. He also upgraded to the newer "super duty" tailgate found on the newer ones, and found some powered retracting/heated/illumanted mirriors that he is putting on next week. They are nice trucks tons of room in the cab.
