How to get dam air damn off?
on my 05 ram its held on by like 6 plastic screws on the front top.after u remove them it has to be pushed from the back to pop out the front - but its also kinda clipped in by tiny tabs that have to be pushed up a tiny bit to clear the bumper hole that its covering.
I just ended up prying up the bottom and yanking the SOB out, Surprisingly enough I didn't actually break anything.
To you guys with the push bars... Did you cut your airdam to cover the bolts or did you just leave it off?

My understanding about the function of the dam is to keep back the chance of engine temp rise. If the dam is removed, the fast air flow pressure under the bumper will out pressure the air from the rad that is flowing over/around the engine trying to exit thur/to the vehicle's bottom. So in turn, less air thru the rad. The electric fan will help the situation a little. Does this make sense?
If I could find it, I would install a longer dam to compensate the obstruction of the ram-air thru the rad caused by large aux lamps, bumper guard, winch & stuff.
My 1/2 cents on the topic.
