Alright, for the terra grapplers, what exactly am I looking at if I want to use my stock rim..for example one tire size is LT235/80R17 E 120R..what do all these numbers and letters mean exactly? Is the 17 the size of the rim the tire requires or something? I want to go a bit bigger than stock but something I can fit under stock height with my stock rim, so what exactly am I looking at here? lol

Dude, post key stuck? anything up to a 305 will fit your stock rim and most likely not rub even at stock height.

Here is a link to translate your numbers into an overall diameter.

I really like 295/70/17's (33's) They are just about the right size and width.

As far as the rest, Not trying to be an ****, but,

BFGoodrich Long trail t/a's from Sams club!!!

Example 275/60R20

275= mm wide
60 = % tall as they are wide (aspect ratio) Sidewall is 60% as tall as the tire is wide (X 2 which means top and bottom)
R = Radial
20 = rim diameter

The E is the load range of the tire usually.

Do you like the Long Trails? I'm in the same boat, but I've got a Jeep to trail ride in, so I want something good on the highway and in weather. The wrangler's weren't horrible, lasted 50k, but traction has been getting bad the last 10k or so. I'll probably end up at Costco getting the Long Trail T/A tours, but am open to options.

BFGoodrich All terrains 315/70/17's I have now, I like em, Very stout tires not to much noise and good traction.
