Default few questions....

i bought my 06 in sep and it has 75000km on it but i want to no how many k's everyone is getting per tank? whats the best was to get better fuel milage?
and is there supposed to be a light that tells u that it drops down to 4 cylinder?

No there is not a light to tell you if MDS is active but one can be made easily. I get ~400km to a tank.

my mpg's are 13mgp american . but i drive a 2500 truck that weaighs close to 8k

I average 17mpg American which is about 400 miles per tank or 643K per tank.

i get almost 300 miles to a tank with 12mpg.

wtf?!?! i only get 13.6 mpg with a 1500 qc with a 4.7l ... whats the deal?


and no theres no lead in my boots...haha

I'm pretty sure the hemis actually get slightly better gas mileage than the 4.7s bc they are more efficient even though they are bigger.

Or am I imagining reading that somewhere?

There is a simple DIY in the FAQ section for adding an indicator light for MDS activation.

and what the hell is a "km" and "k per tank"???
