it actually isn't the front is slightly lower than the rear of the trailer, but looking at the reference line from the paint on the truck it seems to me that the hitch is putting most of the load on the rear wheels and isn't doing much of a weight distribution job. thanks for the equalizer hitch web address. that video explain alot of the setup and the dealer didn't do any of those. I think they even installed the brackets on the trailer upside down.

thanks for everyone's help, i appreciate it! lots of good info for when the frozen tundra thaws.

It's a hitch adjustment issue. Mine uses chains. Never had a chainless one before.

You have to have enough tounge weight to keep the trailer from jacking the rear of the truck around.
