Indexing Plugs

Toss away them old spark plugs...why not just try out the new "ROCKET SCIENCE" technology: the "PULSE PLUG" never misfires, is ECO friendly, and saves you many miles per gallon, (@ $2.20 per gallon in parts of the U.S.A., it would be a good/wise investment). ***that's nothing tho!.. up here in Canada, we pay anywhere from $0.95 per Liter 4-regular gas, to $1.20 per Liter for premium fuel, *(now, lets do the math...4-liters [approx.] per gallon..so therefore a)$0.95x4= $3.80 b) $1.20x4= $4.80 **so, therefore: we pay $3.80 to $4.80 per gallon of gas!

Mark your spark plugs with a marker on the side which faces the open end at your spark electrode. Get hold of a an area speed shop or where ever you can get a hold of the proper spark plug indexing type washers, (they come in a few different thicknesses to help accomodate with your plug alignment). It IS a trial and error situation..you'll be turning them in and out all day to get them right, (quickest way is having your heads out of vehicle). It does work...but for normal street use,...the fuel savings and power gains may not be worth all the effort...good luck though.

Agreed. The change interval is still 30K. $30 for 16 plugs beats $X for some unproven brand.

It probably is but,...1st..you could mark your ratchets extension. Did anybody watch the "Power Block" this weekend? the last 5-minutes of "Horse Power" T.V., they talked/showed the process and benefits of indexing your plugs. "Accel", as they said,..has a spark plug indexing kit, only $15.00 US funds, and around an hour of your time (maybe a bit longer in the real world), kit comes with the 3-available sizes: 0.010", 0.020", and 0.030" indexing rings. *(only one ring per plug, mark the plug + ratchet extension too...first trial run...put plug in by itself to see how far off your mark is, tighten to 10 ft./lb.'s,..check your marks, (you want the mark in the middle of intake + exhaust valves,..if not acceptable...redo using the 0.010" ring...and so on until the mark is within proper area). As they were saying,..it will actually show a remarkable difference in fuel mileage gains, and power gains.
