Problem is fixed, very simple actually. Needed to do a "hard reset":

fully disconnect the battery and touch positive and negative terminals together for a few seconds.

yep, I had this same problem for about a year, everyone told me to replace the Ambient Air temp sensor. I couldnt justify paying nearly $50 to tell me how cold I really am. Couple weeks ago I changed my battery and walla, started working like a charm.

The sensors in these trucks seem to be way out to lunch anyways. In both of my 04's It seems to be out 5-6*C most of the time. I realize this is nothing close to 130, but just something to keep in mind.
