Hey veryone i need you opinions on this one. Now that i have had my truck for some time i am ready to add some mods to it. What i need from you is your opion on what i should do to it . Here is a pic so you can get an idea of what it looks like.

What do you all think about the tires. I was thinking of going just a little bit bigger, maby with some LT285/70R-17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A radials mainly because that is what the powerwagon has. But i was wondering if you think i should go a little bigger but i dont want to get a lift.

I have the 4x4 package and like the look without the OFFROAD decal. The billet grill looks good. Also I went with the aluminum steps instead of the nerf bar and I like it fine.

Your tires sould already be 275/70R 17s. I'm wondering the same thing as you - will 285s do it for me? I'm not raising it. I've been told our truck will take up to 305/70s without lifting or rubbing.

Do you do a lot of off-roading?

Did you get the 34 gas tank?

 

jeff it sounds like our trucks have alot in common. I did get the 34 gallon fule tank. Because i live in new mexico i do alot of off-roading but i havent really taken it anywhere yet but i cant wait! I am beginning to lean more to the 285's over the 305's but i havent decided on a specific tire. If you get new tires anytime soon let me know what you got and how they look! I have been wondering if it was possile to but the same tires as the powerwagon, those look really mean.

 

I know I'm changing the subject but since you live in NM & I live in AZ and I go on one major Xski trip every year - I have to ask you about your tag - Salomanskier. What's that about?
