Well, any truck could do the work that I do with my truck (hauling lumber, drywall, stuff like that), but no truck that I drove had the looks and power combo that the dodge ram has. It made it a pretty easy choice.

I have wanted a Ram since the 2nd gen body style arrived on the scene. I never did have a 2nd gen (had a '98 durango though). For some reason, it took me until 2008 to purchase a truck, let alone the Ram. When we were truck shopping, we kept coming back to the Ram. I was really debating it though because according to Consumer Reports, the Ram scored poorly in reliability compared to Chevy and Ford. Ford was crossed off my list (due to previous issues), so it was between an older body style Chevy and the 3rd gen Ram. My wife finally just said, you know you want the Ram, so just get it. She loves the look of it too! It's a good looking truck, and hopefully it will work well into the future.

I really have no allegiance to any manufacturer. I like the Ram, and the Mustang. Don't really care who made them.

The truck just looks great! Plus they were willing to deal on price!

I was working construction out of a Civic it wasn't workin. When I got on the market to buy a truck I saw the gen 3 Ram and fell in love. All the good reviews and price helped. I was thinking of buying a Furd but I'm glad I didn't. I love my truck.

I didn't, I inherited it. Honestly, I have never had any luck with MOPAR products and becasue of the experience I had with my 03 Durango, I probably would have never purchased another one had this one not been "given" to me.

Same here, looked at 07 F150's, never had a Dodge before. Started with GM, then went to Ford..Both seemed to have rust problems so I thought I'd try a Dodge. Drove the Hemi and said "I'll take it!"
