Well I had a 98 jeep wrangler for years. I wrecked it off roading. I decided then i wanted a truck. I needed the bed and the V8. My girl and I went truck shopping went to Many dealers and drove Tons of trucks dif styles sizes. But what drove me to Buy a dodge was the cab space,the power of the hemi (stock) and handling. I took plenty of chevys and gmc crew cabs out and there just small trucks. Dodge is just a BIG truck and thats what i was looking 4. LOVE MY DODGE!!. And i did research on this truck befor I bought it The chevy SS is a sport truck and it dosnt even stand a chance aginst the 5.7 not just the 2x but also the 4x4. I wanted a Cummings but I couldn't find and in maine that weren't used hard for work trucks

 

I bought a dodge for the bad *** looks and the power!

 

I think all of the American trucks are pretty decent and have their strong points.
I bought my Dodge because it is the best looking truck by far, IMO.

Also, when I bought it, Dodge was doing 50% of sticker! That helped a lot. I am very happy with my purchase. And now I am enjoying the Dodge community.

 

I had a '77 F-250 Highboy for years then I tried a new TTB IFS model. The front end was JUNK. Next I got a Chevy HD 2500 with IFS also JUNK. In '97 the only 1/2 ton with a solid axel was Dodge. I'm now in a 2500 Hemi 5 speed manual 4x4. Unless Dodge goes out of business or goes IFS in the Heavy Duties I'll stick with them. IFS is for Subarus.

i picked a ram because my fav car is the viper and since dodge has a srt 10 ram, it made perfect sense to get a ram

 

It looks the best out of all the other brands. Plus, me personally I always wanted a dodge ram when I was a kid. Oh wait.... I am still a kid. lol. Guess I got my dream truck.

It started for me in 95. My parents bought a 95 Ram new. It got totaled about 6 months after they got it and they bought a new 96 ram. They still have the 96 and it runs great, has about 175K on it. Dad bought a 2500 Diesel in 01. I had a 01 1500 4x4 but had to get rid of it. Now Im on my 2008. My sister has a 2008 Nitro. Dodges just run in the family.

 

well, it was given to me for my 16 birthday...no complaints, i wanted this truck when i first saw it, my grandparents have dodge and my mom has a 2008 turbo pt crusier...so the brand runs in the family
