I think an overlooked mod is a bigger throttle body. When I was getting my CAI and whatnot, I was looking into getting a bored throttle body. I slap myself now for not doing it dang it. But I heard good things about it. A definite increase in response, and acceleration smoothness. Added ponies... ah, i dunno. But I thought I heard RubberFrog mention something about the butt-dyno feelin it.

I would say serious weight reduction, like take out everything but your driver seat.

cam, custom tune, Tq converter, gears, then 150 shot.

With a cam you might need long tube headers which runs up the cost there, and a CAI and bigger throttle body.

I guess it just depends on what you already have done, all you have told us is a Tuner, and not even the brand and model. Give us a little more info please.

If you want better get up and go look into a proted TB, makes driving around town fun and it CHEAP $137 with a $100 core charge!!!

X2 on the TQ Converter, thats another mod that gives some good gains.

For the cam, just remember the bigger you go the more supporting mods you're going to need to pull all the power you can out of it, otherwise its just a waste of time and money.

Truckin makes a good point clear... When you start digging into the motor, youve got to have the correct accessories to compliment your upgrades, or else its a lost cause with all the potential problems.

I cant remember who it was, I think I might have been Hammer, but somebody ordered a set of Bada$$ cams, but havent installed them yet because the tuner he wants to run wont support it the way he wants. Then again Iv been out of the loop for a minute... could have them installed I wouldnt know... LMAO!!!

Anyways, good luck on your search, and keep us informed!

Reduce some weight - remove your bed, and install 15" wheels and tires. Less rolling resistance is good.

15" wheels won't fit.
