Default 2005 5.7L Hemi dies at stops

My truck starts great and accelerates fine. But idle RPM goes down and kills engine at stops. I have cleaned the throttle out with throttle cleaner and problem still exists. Has anyone experienced this problem with their HEMI???

sounds like a vacuum problem to me bud. will it idle at a stop if you keep on the throttle a little?

Yes it does. But it does not happen all of the time, and that is why I did not think it was a vacume problem. But heck I could be wrong.

Yes it does, but I do not have to do it all the time. Idle is about 200 RPM high when in Park. I thought about a vacume leak, but being that it does not do it all the time is why I did not think it was a vacume leak.

I also thought that but was told that was not an item on the 2005 with the 5.7L Hemi. Not on the Throttle Body Assembly. Could I have been misinformed by a Dodge Mechanic? And if not on the Throttle Body Assembly, then where could it be located since no one can tell me?

if it feels like it is going to do it when you come to a stop, slip your truck into neutral and see what happens, if it still does it...then it is engine related, if it doesnt do it...it could possibly be transmission related but im leaning heavily towards the problem being a idle speed control motor gone bad. do some research on it
