I'm gonna be perfectly honest, I have no complaints with my OEM GoodYear HP's other than a little cupping on the outsides at 26K miles. They drove fine in the snow today. I can drive 85mph in moderate rain with no problems. I will probably go with BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A's when I replace them because I had real good luck with those on my F150 that I used to have. The BFG's have over a 500 treadwear rating vs 360 for the GoodYears.
Mine have the white letter outline and they are a good looking tire, but the BFG's will last longer and are less money. I get all of my tires at Sam's Club.

That's was what they told me they could get in the 20", the long trails. Something about them I didn't really care for though. I guess my brain wants to compare them to the AT T/A's and they just aren't the same.

I have them on 17's. I got them right when BFG changed their name from KO to Baja. Might have been the other way around now that I am seeing the name, Baja to KO. I forget. Here is the link - shows it as KO.

Okay, same tire then. Mine said KO on them I think - or at least the last set I bought did. Nice riding and great looking tire. I wish they came in a 20" version. Would have made my decision a lot easier.

Had the GY HP's on mine also and after 2 weeks went and bought 4 new Goodyear Duratracs 275 65 20. Basically a cross between an AT and MT! Only on for a few day's but so far lovin them. By the looks of it should be able to let you know how they are in snow by this weekend. They look awesome on the Rig.

I had BFG Long Trails on my Grand Cherokee Overland when I bought it. Brand new, previous owner musta put them on to sell it. Nice ride, very quiet, handled well on pavement but everytime I took it off-road I was plugging a tire. I'm not talking heavy off-roading here, more like backwoods fishin and camping.

Ended up taking them off after I put about 15k miles on them, hardly any wear at all, but 5 plugs total in the 4 tires.

Oh, and to the OP: No, I've NEVER replaced a stock tire with the same. Even when bought new, I've done tires and wheels as one of the first mods on all my trucks.

Even though stock tires are cheap and usually crap, they are usually expensive to replace with the same exact thing. I know the Michelin M/S Tires that came on my truck are over $200 to replace per tire. Which is garbage considering I only got about 12k out of them. What Goodyears did they come with? And flats have nothing to do with the quality or make of a tire.

Truck tires = B.F. Goodrich or Nitto. Shockingly B.F.G. is made by Michelin but all of the Michelin LT truck tires I've ever experienced SUCK.

The OEM 20" tire is Goodyear Wrangler HP in 275/60/20.

I suppose you've never heard the term "PLY RATING"???

I've pulled screws out of my Cepek FCIIs that weren't halfway thru the tread and had to patch my old tires on my Jeep that had screws not half the size penetrate all the way into the tire...
