I tried to hikack a thread the other day with this question but the thread was long and just died. Like some others, I found a good deal on an OEM tailgate spoiler (I guess that's what you'd call it) from a newer year model RAM lineup and put it on my truck. I got it on ebay but it's a MOPAR accessory or a damn good copy but the bolts that came with it are crappy. They are black, of course, but they rusted in no time. Anyone got any suggestions on what I could replace them with that wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb like stainless would? Or something maybe available to put over the bolt heads of some stainless bolts that would cover them up?
I guess, maybe - they are called hot toppers but I've never seen them in black, only chrome. But with so many blacked out bikes these days, they probably make them in black too.

yea, they do make em in black, but that's a big pain in the ***. I would just spray some flat black paint into the lid and dab it on w/ a q-tip.
Teach to bad your truck is black and mines grey, I wanna get rid of the stupid thing and I took it off just to find some big *** holes in the tailgate with little clips that the bolts screw into.. Anyone with a grey truck (without a spoiler) wanna trade tailgates??
Got mine on ebay a year or so ago for about 60 bucks shipped. I like it a lot better than the crappy cap I had to match my bed rail caps. I'll take it off alright. But then put it back on with better hardware.
