Default Need advice on gears and Wheels

So sometime in Febuary I will be purchasing new wheels & tires. I have 3.55 gears, Im looking to either purchase the stock 20" inch wheels with AT tires or purchase 17' inch wheels with bigger tires. Now my question is should I change my gears or should I be fine running the same gears? I am a little worried about gas but not to much since I don't commute far.

man 3:55 are gonna suck if you go to big a tire! The rim size is personal preference, if you do any serious off roading then the 17's will be better. If it is for looks then the 20's are fine. If you are going with a 33" tire either way, then the effect of the gears will be the same!

So I should be fine If I just purchase the stock 20" inch rims for a bit. I don't think I'm going to be wanting bigger tires with 17" inch rims

i would get a 17 inch wheel tire package, you will have more options this way, and it will be a lot cheaper than 20's

He has a point! 20" tires are much more than 17" so unless you are getting a deal on the 20's I would lean toward the 17's

Stay away from 20"ers. 17" is want you want on a truck.
