Default Champion Copper Plus vs. NGK G-Power

I was wondering what the difference in fuel mileage would be. Specs in 05 Dodge Ram call for the Champion Copper's however, everyone is talking about putting Platinum's in. (NGK G Power) is what I installed. Seems ever since I swapped, nothing has gotten better. Is there a reason why they suggest to stay with the Copper's or should I be yielding a better MPG with the Platinums?

what engine do you have? Also, everyone is talking about NOT putting in platinums for the hemi because of the lack of performance. Hemis love them coppers...and with 16 plugs, so does my wallet.

way too expensive for a difference that you won't notice running champions.

Champions were stock in my truck and are still in there now. Changing plugs is not going to make MPGs jump

I have the 5.7 Hemi in my rig. I wasn't wondering which Brand of plug to put in, I was wondering what the difference was. I had everyone (in person not on here)- maybe I shouldn't have listened. telling me to do away with the Copper's and slap in some Platinum's so I did. It is a bit peppier but that could also be because the old plugs were 100K old. Reason I am asking is because I saw a post where buddy's MPG went down after he had the garage install Platinums and went back up to normal when he installed a new set of Coppers.

I'm getting about 10 MPG mixed driving, about 50/50 running Sunoco 94.

Gonna try cleaning the TB and see what happens but I was wondering if anyone knew if Platinums would possibly be the culprit for loss of economy.

Running 94 at 1.15/L and not even getting 400K to a tank is getting pretty expensive.
And your right, 16 plugs is expensive. What's the reasoning behind it? 16 plugs that is.
