Default recon, line of fire

well i got my first fix it ticket for my smoked tail lights and i was wondering if the line of fire could legally replace the tail lights or even pursuade cops to not pull me over. I've seen people with shaved tail lights and was wondering what they do to legalize their trucks.

I'd check your local laws, but I highly doubt that the line of fire bar will legally replace your taillights.

dam that sucks! I would imagine that would help. I put a LED light bar similar to the recon. I was afraid of the same thing, although I have noticed my niteshades are fading so my tails are brighter than they used to be

well im just going to put on my buddies tail lights and get the tickets signed off. im just glad i dont have to pay and i already have a solution. it just sucks, anything that makes a car personal or cool looking is illegal. you can't tint windows, you can't modify your tail lights or headlights in any way, to loud of horn is illegal, loud music is illegal, loud engine is illegal, and technically it is illegal to modify your engine as well unless it is a certified part. but whatever maybe the real drunk driver that just hit a little kid got away while i was being pulled over for something stupid. oh by the way i was doing 25mph, driving cautiously becuase it was pooring rain. but hey state has to make money some how.

i hear ya man! i got written up not too long ago for the exhaust being too loud, legal tint here in FL is 28% and mines at 2 lol. my tailights werent visible, he tried to give me a ticket for the lift because the headlights were too high up, but i went on my iphone and showed the damn cop that theres no lift laws for trucks over 7500 lbs in FL!! f*cking idiot didnt even know his own laws!

Yes I did 3 coats!! It is not a bad fade, but I notice it! And It is ok I actually think the lights show up better now, I was scared in the beginning that I was gonna get rear-ended cause they were to dark.
