the SC tuner will really impress you. get a CAI and a high flow exhaust with a 180* t-stat and it will wake that 5.9 right up!!

The thing with mods is you never really appreciate them if you do them all at once. Drive your truck around for a little get used to it and then add a mod. CAI. then a little later an exhaust and such.... Do everything at once and the enjoyment of "new" and "exciting" lasts a limited amount of time.

the 3865 is the newer version that will allow you to control the transmission shift points, etc... BUT only '04? + rams will get these options. the trans computer is seperate on the '03 hemi, and you have a completely different tranny with the 5.9... so... just get a 3815, you should be able to find an unlocked used one cheap since everyone with the newer trucks will be selling them and buying the 3865 for the trans options...

headers and full exhaust setup

That's just me though. Look under your ram sometime at the exhaust manifold before the cats. bugs me everyday thinking about it when i step on the gas.

3865 is the only one for 5.9 that I know of! That is what I have. When you do the CAI and a better flowing exhaust with the performance tune it will cause the engine to run a little lean. If you run a 180* t-stat it will make the computer think it needs to richen it up, so it will offset the lean caused by the MODS. Also whenever you do any of these MODS you need to reset your ECU and basically retrain your computer with the new data. In the end your seat dyno will say WOW!!!

ok well i think im just going to go with the 3865 just to be on the safe side. and i was looking at some other post about a TMR delete mod? i tried looking for this on my truck but i believe the trans is different because i cant find the computer anywhere. yeah i looked at the manifold before it is pathetic. ha i might have to make a new one. im going to wait on the headers for now.
