well i ran a 13.22@103.87 on sunday. i really want in the 12's and it kills me to know that i could have done it. i was too tired and the weather didnt look too good so i figured i wouldnt get close so i did NO track prep or weight reduction. im a single cab short bed on 17's and my race weight was 5110!!!!!!!!! i could have easily dropped 250lbs, which probably would have dipped me right into the 12's!!! i had a tick over 3/4 tank of gas when i ran, spare, tailgate, and 60lbs worth of stereo stuff!!
the intake probably didnt add too much, but i dont exactly have alot of money to spend on everything. i have pacesetter LT's and dual DMH cutouts. the longtubes made a big difference and the cutouts when placed before the muffler AND cats make a difference in performance a little bit and make a difference in sound ALOT!!!
I have a 2004 RC Hemi with 392 gears. Other mods include a jet stage 2 performance chip, flowmaster stage 3 exhausts, JBA headers, airaid cold air intake system.
Ran a 14.3 and a 14.1 in the 1/4 @ 99 and 102 mph.
