Default Plugs

Hey guys descided to change the plugs in my 04 4.7. i went with the autolite 3923 since that seens to be the one most use. i didnt think they would be too worn out since i only have 67000 mile but i wasnt sure when they were changed last. well they look pretty spent. heres a pic of what i found. i was going to clean the throttle body too but i couldnt get the connectors on the 2 sensors to unplug. any suggestions?

thanks

I changed out the plugs on my 03 4.7L last month. Only 65k miles but the plugs looked just like yours. Surprised me too. Not sure what to say about the 2 sensors. Mine didn't give me any problems unplugging.

The TB plugs should come right off. They each have a tab on them that you have to move and then pull it off. Try rocking the plugs back and forth. Don't pull on the wires or they may rip out.

i didnt have any wires on top of mine. there was a bundle running next to the coil pack. i did unbolt the oil dip stick so i could get back there easier. do the wires have enough slack to move them over so you could get the coil off. i did find they dont give you much extra wire to pull those coils out.
