do you think i would need some kind of helper spring or add a leaf or what do you think would help me in my car hauling situation

it is a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L QC SWB with 3:92 rear end....I am amazed at my gas mileage i get pulling this trailer...I get a good 13-14 mpg

I would say add a leafs or helper air bags.

I say a bigger turbo for that ride on the trailer!! (assuming its the turbo model, if not, make it one!)

A bunch of the 'Senior' members swear by air bags. (Some of ya'll might resent that remark, but most will resemble it!!! )

+1 on the air bags. You should be able to get a good set for right around a couple hundred dollars.

How are you gettin 13mpg with a trailer and a extra ton on it? Im gettin that by myself. BTW, is that your starion/Conquest? Fix the injectors, 4g63 turbo and a exhaust and make shift intake...have fun.
