AF- tell Stu you want something like the 260 but optimized for a custom tune. What you want is a tire shredding torque monster. He can do that. You're just not going to find what you're looking for in an off the shelf cam.

 

im well aware of that, which is why im more concerned with contact info to someone that can do a custom grind as opposed to an off the shelf cam. thanks for stu's info. know of anyone else? i like to shop around.

and yes, frog and weed are two of the guys i've been waiting to hear chime in. horseapples is another. blown287 has some experience stacking the SC/SCT as well. I PM'd him but havent gotten a response. Anyone else know of anyone with experience using this stack?

Marty has done some good tuning for me so far and Im happy with it. I honestly can say I did like the Sidewinder but you really didnt notice the pulling until after 2500-3000 and all the way up to 5800+ but not a lot of guys either want to spin that high or stay in that RPM. I can say even at the lower RPMs of 2k+ I can tell a difference with the 210. But that could be the difference in the Sidewinder not being custom tuned (only SC) and the 210 is custom tuned. However, coming from old school SBO 350s and 455s, I have always loved a good lope. Remember the Sidewinder is between the 260 and 268 and the 210 is comparable to the Sidewinder more than anything else but is 110lsa v/s 114 on the Sidewinder. That is unless you get the 210x which is 108 and what I still want.

 

Here is the problem. If you do use the SC to tune your tranny resetting shiftpoints etc, it will have to remain a part of the perm stock programming. You can put the SCT over the top of it, make it part of the stock program but never use the SC again.

Once the SC is used, it can never be modified. If you do modify it, it will corrupt your tuner and you won't be able to use either one. If you email Hemifever you can tell you it took me 48 hrs to have both tuners unlocked and I was advised to never attempt that again.

Heres another thing, I thought 03's aren't compatible with SCT. If thats so there is a sniper cam for sale on DT. And I think that is the only route you can go.
