Default Heated Seat?

So just a quick question.

Is there a way that I can program my heated seats to automatically go on low, or even high when I remote start my truck?

Its so nice getting into a somewhat warm truck. But that leather is a B**** when its cold out. The rest of the truck is warm and you sit down and freeze!

It would be nice just to have heated seats in my truck. My last jeep did but not my truck. I would guess you could wire something up to make it work, someone must have done this mod somewhere in the world. I would think.

I would think you could wire it into the accessory wire of the remote start that controls the heat and defroster??? Not an installer, so I might just be talking out of my butt, but it seems like it would work in theory!

haha well i got my Laramie for a pretty good price so...

I could definitely wire something in for sure, (electrician talking :P) the hardest part would be to bipass the switch, but even that is not hard

The only problem with that is that in the summer i dont need it. So i thought that maybe there would have been a way to program it so it could be reversed again in the summer...i might just have to wire in a 2 position switch. So that in the winter i can give it 12V from the start circuit. Then in the summer switch it off, but still have it able to work in the summer.

sounds like alot of work when they heat up as fast as they do, especially if the rest of the truck is already warm!

but it would make things even nicer!

OR I could just make a jumper over the switch itself. So that it always detects the switch is closed turning the seats on....i think that circuit is on when the truck starts...
