I already have been on their site and they have a complete FBSS (Front, back, side, side) with everything for like 1600. I really don't need the side to side but WTH.

For everyone else, why not do it? If I can sit at stock height and still lift 6" or close to it, why not?

I say if you got the pockets go for it, 6 inches is plenty especially if you don't do much offroading. Like I said also I was toyin around with the idea myself and running a bl with it so if ya do it let me know how it works out.

I know you're main interest isn't racing, but you suggested that it is one of them....

So I ask, are bags even good for racing? Will they allow weight transfer to the rears? Im assuming you're just talking about light-to-light runs, but even then, going from a dig, you want/need w/e traction you can get. I don't know enough/anything really about bags, so inquiring minds wanna know

Of course, the idea in general is sick, twisted, out of the 'norm', and I love it. If you have the coin, (and obviously you have the know-how to do it yourself), f*ck it, go for it. If you really could fab it to go up from stock, and down from stock, hell, thats the best of both worlds. I personally would be jealous

Thats a good Q if the bags would hold up like that. No strip racing or even red light racing. I just drive hard and fast. I cant tell you when the last time it was I street raced with someone and with the new fines GA has, I dont even know if I would do it. The last ticket I had was 700 bux and since then anything over 20 is the fine plus an additional 200.

I like the idea of this and have been looking at this myself.

Weed my other half does the same slide out of the truck and I'm at standard height and worry about the seats too!

Has anyone seen the Mk2/3 Range Rover with factory 'bags? When you park up it can be lowered right down so it's easy to get into/out of, but then has normal ride height an off road setting and a high speed setting and is self levelling.

Check here: http://www.rangerovers.net/rrsuspension.htm

If you could control individual wheels it would make tyre changes easier and getting into the engine bay easy too when you lower it down.

I think the biggest challenge is going to be getting the bag rating right so that it doesn't ride to hard or soft, would be worth weighing the front and rear of the truck.

Weed would you get rid of the rear springs and go for a trailing arm/5 link set up or keep them and put supplementary bags on?

Harby- BMW X5 can also have adjustable park height as well. It goes from stock to 4 inches lower.

I have to agree with hammer's statement of adding more rubber and taking away some aluminum. It may look a little funny at first but your ride uality will greatly improve.
I say, get some 20x10" wheels and slap some big-****'s on there! 36x13.5"
Go any smaller than 20's i think you'll feel like you have training wheels....lol
