lol thanks in any case i feel a lot better about the whole frame being twisted. Now the question is how truly big of an engine I can fit lol

IIRC mmstar said he had something like 15g's dumped in his motor alone! Yeah, it oughta be badass!

That 890hp SRT probably doesn't have the mountain of torque that an overbuilt diesel will have when it's all said and done.

Like was mentioned, 2500 and 3500 have a bigger, beefier stronger frame. There's a REASON they don't put the currently available diesels in 1500's. What I would recommend if you intend to pursue this is to try and reinforce the frame a bit wherever possible and go bigger on your driveline (axles, transfer case, driveshafts). Then see what happens.
