Not so much the engine being your bottle neck, it's your transmission. If you search the 3rd Gen section, you'll find a lot on nitrous and what you need to do in order to handle it.

even a stock rsx would rape a mildy modded truck. your pretty much screwed. you could always rent a truck similar to your's and spray it. just make sure you have the extra insurance

my buddy has a rsx type s with the jackson supercharger on it and i showed him this post this weekend and we wanted to run my 08 4.7 ram....the outcome was really bad i had him 0-8 LOL then nothin but 4 lil red circles. we got back to my house and i decided i couldnt let him stand around and talk crazy s**t all night so i got him to run me in the crossfire. we were pretty even with me on motor on spray i pulled a car and a half. (its only a 35 shot) So with a hemi u might of been a lil closer cause 08 4.7's are 310 horse and i got 3" duals and an airaid intake so i figure my truck is in the 330ish range at crank

You have an 08 4.7 which has more horsepower which sounds like you're almost inline with an 03 hemi so not too much different.

Think of the power:weight ratio. He's at about 10 lbs/horsepower. That means your truck would have to be about the same. A good race for him would be a regular cab SRT-10 with 500hp in about a 5000lb truck. Not a 335 hp truck that weighs in at 5500ish lbs.

Default Woot good new or bad news??? you decide..

Ok so i called up my friend and asked him for a complete list of the mods he has for his rsx. Now he has a 2006 regular RSX, not the type S. So i got a sheet to tell me how much power his car has. Stock it's at 116 kW , 155 HP SAE @ 6,500 rpm; 139 ft lb , 188 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. The mods he has are Port an polish, type R intake,440 fuel injectors, 3 inch exhaust short shifter, ITR cam's. Now that vs my truck which has full 3inch flow master exhaust, tomorrow am getting a SC for 80 bucks and CAI, plus i cut the green wire 2003 style. Would i have a chance?

Maybe if you pulled the bed and cab and bolted the seats to the frame but otherwise he's gonna make you cry.
