My lugs worked perfectly well with my 1/4 inch spacers, of course my lugs are aftermarket along with my aftermarket wheels... I have locking lug nuts...
Thanks 4.7! But there is only a 1/16" difference between 1/4 and 5/16. BUT 1/16 is alot when you are talking about stud strength. If you want to go wider, get a set of 1-1/4" bolt on hub centric spacers. That is what I am running on my truck, with no issues. no vibration nothing. I have double checked the torque on min several times and no issues there either. Definitely gives a more aggressive stance with stock wheels.
I have 305/70/17 in the stock wheels and they measure out 12.5 I would not go wider with the 315's. Just my opinion. But you can do w/e you want. You will prob have terrible tread wear and thats always fun.
Thanks dudes, actualy just got back from having my left lower ball joint replaced.... but anyways, i was reading about the 5/16 spacers from advance, i actually saw them, are they wide enough for the tires where they wont rub? and i will prob. go with 305/70/17's,
