Haha, definately getting the level kit now. Going with the HBS kit. From the research I've done, all makes and models that have gone with this kit all say the same: Great product, especially for the price.

SO, of course, theres a question somewhere in here. Ive been searching this on our forum, and have found that 05-under models need to replace the shocks, but the 06-08's are ok with the stockers. BUT, most info I found was on the 2wd trucks. I was just curious if this still applies to the 4wd's too?
Also, just for giggles, wheres the best place to start looking for shocks? I understand that 2in longer ones are better, and according to Hammer's opinion, If I can't afford the Bilsteins, go with the Rancho 9000's (I think I saw that in some thread anyways). If I can find some for a decent price, I'll do it, whether its necessary or not. But I can't really foot too much of the bill right now, my Mom is buying the level for me for the B-day.
Again, I know this is but I get confused when searching these threads, get all the 2wd/4wd 05-under/06-08 info mixed up. Thanks, again, in advance fellas

yes you should change shocks with th 4wd. it wont hurt if you wait but longer shocks are always needed if you do any kind of suspension work. I just leveled mine out and will probably get shocks sometime within the next 2 weeks. also make sure whoever puts the level kit on aligns you truck as well.

I still haven't found out exactly whether or not my 07 has to have the shocks replaced. I mean, if it can wait till the funds are more together, that'd be awesome. Then I could spring for the better ones, whichever those might be. If I have to get'em now, they might be the advanced auto special haha.....
