Default Please help Dodge Ram Electrical Problem

My Dodge seems to have a mind of its own. Today I noticed that my left headlight was out. When I turned on my bright lights my right headlight went out but my left headlight came back on. Both turns signals are blinking fast either left or right. The "lamp out" dummy light is on. If I hit the brakes only the right rear brake light works. Any suggestions? A fuse or just a light bulb somewhere? Its a 2003 Dodge 2500 5.9 Liter Cummins Turbo.

Dead stuff:

- Only the right rear turn signal lamp flashes, and it's at a high speed
- 4-ways only illuminate the same right rear lamp, same high speed
- only 1 right rear brake light works
- right front low beam works but high doesn't
- left front high beam works, but low doesn't

There was a few threads a while back about people having problems like that. I believe the solution they ended up with was they had moisture/corrosion in the fuse box I think. A couple of 'em ended up replacing them and the problem was no more. Other than that I couldn't really tell ya.

Check out these couple of threads. This sounds EXACTLY like the problems you seem to be having.

I just ordered the part for the power distribution center *PDC* or fuse block. From what I am reading this is a common problem on early 03 2500's. Dealer is charging $425 for this part.

Part number Part Description Quantity Price Total
68005474AA BLOCK NONE 1 $261.80 $261.80

Sub Total $281.78

This was an updated part with an extra bottom housing to cover the electrical connections and bottom of PDC to protect from future water damage.

Part number on the part was 56049019AF but with housing changed to 6800544AA

Good to hear you got it figured out buddy. These guys on here are the **** aint they?

Is that a possiblity Jay, Jon, anyone, that we could silicone the fuse blocks to prevent any of this? If so, would that hinder any future uses of say, empty spaces in the fuse block? Just curious, all of a sudden Im all about preventative maintaince, haha.
