It it binding on the BJ. STOP now or ruin the BJ threads and replace it later.

Have you take the bottom BJ loose and everything else? Tie rod? Swaybar link? ECT?

Try getting a pry bar and put it in between the spindle and the a arm. Pry on it while you hit the spindle at the joint with a BFH. Only hit the SPINDLE not the ball joint.

R u trying to separate the upper balljoint? is that the issue?
did you take the balljoint nut off?...lol is the pitman arm puller big enough? I'd take a few swifts with a hammer on a solid surface to separate them. i wouldn't go apesh*t on it as you may crack it unless your spindle isn't aluminum like mine? if it's cast, pount the crap outta it with a 3-5lb sledge.
I'd prefer pickle forks over a puller like your using. Easier and less damage.

ohh, and make sure you have the whole assembly supported underneath or that spring will shoot out and kill you.

+1 on that. Try putting a jack under it. Mine's an 04 and it's cast. That's what i did. I pounded the hell out of it. His is an 03 so it should be cast too.

I jacked up the whole setup to where the spring was maybe halfway compressed, that way the balljoint wasn't at such an extreme angle and it popped easier this way. I used the pitman arm puller as well, I didn't compress the spring on the other side and I couldn't pop the thing loose. So I jacked it up like the other side and it popped as soon as I put pressure on it with the PAP.
