smknram, what did you use to paint your tips i like it
I used BBQ grill paint cause I had a can of it, and it is high temp. And it is flat black, the tips NEVER stay clean anyway so the flat does not show dirt as bad.
thats what I thought it was just by lookin at it but wasnt exactly sure..runnin wheel spacers..hows that work for yah? are they a hastle...I was thinking about doing the exact same thing as you...
Yes on spacers, no on hassle re torque every 3-5k miles, but it is worth it to have the look! plus I barely drive 100-150 miles a week
ive got mine painted black. used VHT flame proof header paint. idk abt powder coating but i know you can defiantly ceramic coat them. My buddy just had his whole system ceramic coated on his S4.
Your trucks exhaust would melt powder coat. You could use Jet Hot or go to your automotive store and buy high temp engine paint.
Boy are you wrong . I powder coared a 1200 sporty custom took the heat sheilds off too boot .Just for thre look. Let me tell ya. them pipes got cherry red and would burn anything that touched em guess thats why they have heat shields, but melting the thought crossed my mind when I had it done but notta never happened.

Really? Powder coat melts in the 350-400 range. Steel begins to turn red around 750. Either your pipes aren't as hot as you say or they're ceramic coated.
Right my bad bie was cherry red with red night glow was lookin at a old pic. My bad but definatly powdered my point was they stand up too heat wasn't good on protection tho scratched way too easily.
