PML Trans Pan Painted (Pics)
I painted my new PML Trans Pan. Heres the pics. will be painting the whole tranny when it comes in. similar to this. the materials i used were:
6 - beers
1 - mad dog 20/20
1 - can of dupli color engine primer
1 - can of dupli color base coat
1 - can of dupli color clear coat
1 - shot of tequila
and 1 - belt sander
i cleaned it all up with a lint free cloth and alcohol, then did 3 coats of primer. 4 thin coats of color, and 3 coats of clear. booze were mixed in between all of that. i painted the whole thing red, then used the belt sander to take the paint off the top of the fins, then clear coated it all

Nice job man!
I especially like that you sanded the tops of the fins and didn't paint the bolts. I just did my differential cover, but since I'm only a couple thousand miles into new fluid, I did it on the truck and painted the bolts. When it's diff fluid time again, I'm replacing the bolts with nice allen key jobbers to give it the same chrome on red look...
