Help with debadging!
I really don't want to buy a 15 dollar wheel that I will only use once.
Its not ghosting. And all the adhesive is gone and all the sticky under the adhesive is gone. Its just a part outline of where the adhesive was. Its like someone took a pen and outlined it. Its faint though but I can't get it to go away.
Maybe some the wax or claybar will work.
Thanks for the help

that will help more than anything in my opinion, the micro abrasive in the compound will take that outlined dirt out of the clear coat.
So I'm not alone lol I can't stand the outline. Id put the badges back on if I had to just to cover it up. (i would have to paint the badges black first though lol)
Most round here don't debadge. If they debadged there rice burner you still know it's a rice burner lol
lol haha rice burner!!! lol anyway ya i debadged my truck and i jus had my friend who details cars at a dealership just buff and wax job on the hole truck. i just had to buy him the wax and he did it that way and it looked like nothing was ever there. here in alaska we have really bad road grime from spring breakup and tar and bad dirt roads. also jus recently had a volcano erupted and ash came down and couple months later i debadged the truck. so ya try that if all fails!!
No you are not alone. I have it also. I debadged last week and I have an eraser wheel what I used. It worked great but there are those outline lines from the badges that are just like what you say. They are barely visible and look like dirt outlines. I used wax cleaner and a clay bar on mine and they still are there.
