Default big motor = big power!!!!

im thinkin about dropin in a 440 hemi strocker short block with i nice set of heads and an aggressive cam, should b good for about 720ish hp. and i think it would b a fun little project. also they make a top mounted supercharger for it just in case a feel the 720 is not enough. here is a link http://www.shophemi.com/c-459-61-hem...0-stroker.aspx

short block is 6k cam and heads are 3k. thats not too much for the power and reliability i will get. you are right i could take my stock motor and bore it out to a 392 put a new intake manifold twin turbos blah blah blah but it wont b a reliable motor that when i turn it on i know its goin to crank and when i floor it i dont have to worry about throwing a rod. thats just my thoughts though. and thats and insaine look grill lol

damn, thats hella expensive. Not sure if I'd invest that much for a gas engine on a daily driver...sounds to me thats what you are intending though.

I'd have a hard time justifying that kind of money when I could build a motor myself and know how to fix it if/when it breaks. Just my opinion tho.
