I have them on mine, went with the thickest ones I could find and have had 0 problems. If it lost any power it is 100% NOT noticable, track times also say the samething

Must be this is a pre-'06 issue? I just changed my plugs and there's no wires at all, the coils have 2 rubber boots attached to the bottom of them.

03-05 hemis have the waste spark setup. They got smart and went to an overall coil per cylinder in 06.

I wondered why my brother was bitching about doing wires on his hemi. He has an '03. Now I understand. This is my first hemi, moved up from a 5.9, still have alot to learn about these things.

The shorty's are the poor man's way of converting to the newer setup, but you'd need an aftermarket coil to get as much power as the 06 stock coil (and they make aftermarket coils for the 06 and newer as well). Very pricey though.

They only cause backfiring on the boosted or N20 guys stock you have nothing to worry about, Mines a 2004 and I converted it to the 06+ dual coil packs

Which works fine if you stay N/A, Those MSD coils are expensive @ 430 for 8.

you guys dont know expensive until you go over to the diesel side...

Yeah, ignition coils for a diesel are really expensive
