that's right, you have a marriage. I hope everything is going well and good luck to both of ya. if the truck is running right and it's not slipping or missing gears when shifting, I wouldn't think about it too much. Just change out the fluid and filters.

I agree. Nothing wrong with the transmission. Looks good to me and the shifts are real nice. The 4.7's are stout engines.

EXACT sound with my WOT from 1-2. We have the same exact truck except the only difference is you have higher gears, but that doesnt matter. But I have a vid of my truck WOT and i played them both and its identical....im also guessin that your WOT 2-3 is extremely smooth compared to that and doesnt make the fart???

Correct I haven't seen your vid but I highly compare it to hemi fart and 2-3 is extremly smooth I love how it shifts except for the above. It's very hard to explain. Glad somebody else knows what it does.

Watched the video a couple of times. Your truck runs great. But I think I saw that slight hesitation you spoke of. I don't think it is a trans issue, but what about the knock sensor killing the timing on the shift. It would be when the engine would detonate if you have some bad fuel. Just thinking out loud. Fill it up with Highest Octane your area has and maybe put some fuel dry in the tank.

I run 93 constant have since Jan when I got my tuner even though I only have 91 tune. We don't have 91 available. Is the knock sensor replaceable? I've not heard of that before. What about running some seafoam? I'm just poking for ideas at this point. Will still get some clean fluid and filters soon.

I have learned to deal with it.. that would be great if we could get our WOT 1-2 shifts crisp, clean and fast like our 2-3! The only reason I have come up with is because 1-2 is the most used shift we use goin at full throttle so maybe just over time it has taken a beating on the tranny or gears or whatever. Because like I said, the WOT 2-3 we barely ever do, so maybe thats why it is still clean and no hesitation

Might want to monitor fuel pressure with a gauge to verify it's not dropping out.
Might also try dropping the 1-2 shift point 200rpm at WOT to see if it goes away.

Man you have that sucker shift high. I wish I had a video of my work truck shifting for ya... now thats a slipping tranny. it also shifts hard! trans temp light is on and over drive is stuck on.... Weird part is that it was working fine yesterday and this morning all hell broke loose. Its a 2500 Cummins.

not really my shift points are where they are supposed to be ... ill be getting my tranny flushed out using only atf4 fluid and putting new filters on sometime next week and then ill start playing with my points again and hopefully get it so it doesn't do it....
