Default Hemi Under Glass Ram Air Intake System

http://moesperformance.com/index.php...oducts_id=1443

^^Can anybody fill me in on this? I haven't heard many guys running this intake, but it says it's more effective than headers, programmers, or catbacks? Is anybody running this intake, and does it take any kind of weird modifying to set it up. Finally, is it safe?

I have had mine for over 2 yrs and love it, no mods at all you remove the stock air box and HEMI hat and this slides right in place. Basic hand tools and its in under 2hrs. I bought it based on the looks but the performance is undeniable if you have a 4x4 and do serious off roading this system is not for you due to the air enters from the center of the front bumper and their was a case of some one drove through a deep puddle and blew the engine. I live in the SE and we get rain all the time form lite sprinkle to hurricane force and no water gets in I love this intake and the only thing I would trade it for would be a supercharger
here are some pics with custom decal I had made up

Thanks for the info Raceram. The exact reason you say would not be good to own one, is the only thing that held me back from getting one. I've been known to go splashing through some pretty big puddles, and I guess this one wouldn't be for me.

its a ram air CAI. Ive made kits like this (same purpose) for camaros and mustangs. Does it help performance, yes. Does it perform better than headers, no friggin way. Its a cool looking air intake and thats it. I dont even like the fact that its use the crinkle tubing...should be smooth for better air flow. Prolly get the same performance from making you own outa PVC for 30 bucks.
