I dont get the point of the pushbutton starts at all. You still have to have the key in there... its a complete waste of money, and for what? more work when starting the engine?

If your heart isnt set on the factory srt10 one, you can buy similar ones at harbor freight for a couple dollars. After all, it's only a push button.

Here's a video of the factory one.

Here's a link to one you can buy. Most are $50+

And here's a link to a generic harbor freight one. $4.00

As you can see, the real srt10 one has the factory plug on it whereas the cheap one is setup for universal hard wire.

Does Moes or one of the other vendors have them for sale? You can also look on the Viper truck Club board and find them also. I put a push button in mind but I did not want a red button. It would match absolutely nothing in my truck and look horrible IMO. I bought mine on ebay and as usual, there are pics in my sig link

there is a company that selsl the key fob set up like the nissans have where the sensor has to be within in range for it to evenr start. i remeber a guy on dt did the set up and cut his key down flush with the ignition switchand left it in the on position. the push star on these set ups is also a push off. im sure you could fab a plug to cover the ignition all together. i think it was about 400.00 a little pricy but major cool points. im sure i could go look and find it if you wanted. just let me know
