spark plug help
my socket is stuck in the hole and wont come out. i cant get to it because the stupid brake booster is in the way. can i take the booster off or how else can i can the socket out.?
ah I see what you are sayin. You may have to lay on the engine and reach in with both hands and try to shimmy it loose or something. I know the booster is removable, I just havnt done it myself. Here's what the manual says about removing the booster if you need the info.
honestley i use 2 sockets when i do mine because of that....i have a socket the plug fits nice in to remove and one the plug fits in loose for install....not all people have a few laying around but if yopu do id try that...or yes a magnet should work....

Hey Joe, where did you get that cool schematic from?
i got it thanks guys. i put a screw driver in and shimmied it out although the magnet with a long pole would have worked great. these things are a pain in the ***. Do you guys use a 6inch extension or 3"? im using the 6 right now but am having trouble with it being too long, and im not sure if the 3 is long enough?
Try and get a long piece of wooden dowel.
Put some epoxy resin glue on it and tag it to the socket.
Make sure it's not run onto the plug top.
Let it set, then try to pull the socket out????
Only thing I can think of, if a powerful magnet doesn't work.
Strike that....just read your successful attempt.
