Thanks for the help. If I can figure out if its coming from the steering for sure I'll give it a shot. I think I might just have to lay on the floor and have wife drive around while try to find where its coming from. Probably not the safest method but when it won't make the noise unless moving I don't have much choice.

if that doesn't work might take it in to a shop you trust and see if they can't figure it out

Even after adjusting it up I notice it settles back down and starts making noise again. Your's probably wont but between my steel hood and metal grill they're supporting a lot of weight

No problem! Let me know how it turns out for ya. I hope that's your issue and not something bigger.

I finally figured out the stupid noise. It really sounded like it was coming from the dash so I laid down on the floor while my dad drove to try to find the exact location. Once I laid on the floor I could easily tell it was from under the truck not the dash. I went under and tightened my PA body lift blocks and it shut up.

My truck has developed a small squeak when I stop and start. I could tell it was coming from the rear. I ended up sparing some PB Blaster on my shackles and it went away. I know it will come back but at least I know where it is now so i can fix it.

Next time you should do the same and spray your bushings and front end pieces to help locate the issues.

My front struts made a noise like this.Took me weeks to find it,drove me up a wall.I could get out and shake, bounce,do anything and couldnt hear ir untill i drove. Finally i seen the oil all over the struts and had them replaced and all the noises went away.Squeks and clicks suck to pin point.Ide rather have the motor blow up,at least then ya know what it is.I have a piece of trim in the cab makeing a noise now and i have yet to find what it is.I guess thats why radios go so loud.just to drowned out the noises
