Default Door lock not working (just one door)

The drivers side QC door no longer responds to either the keypad or the switch inside the truck. The other three doors work fine. What is mosy likely the problem? The local shop thought it might be the motor that operates the lock on that door. He said they are spendy, but could get one from a junked out truck for less then half....whatever that was.

Yep, door lock actuator. Try local junkyards or Greenleaf auto on the internet. I found some on Ebay when I needed one.

I had the same with my D/S door. I ended up replacing the lock actuator and everything was fine.

I looked at my wires as well and they look fine, I know when I put in the new accuator the lock worked 4 times and then nothing after that. could it be the drivers door switch group or even the fuse box? really sucks, I've had the truck for 2 years now and it's work for the first 2 months and nothin since.

it could be a switch but I would think the RKE would still work though
