Rear diff. fluid change and pix!
ya dog , i have never done this as ol red was done with the gear change and the MC was done from the factory with the 4:10 install but im doing main so i thought idd ask . guess ill be doing it this weekend , but what are the suplies and amounts ?? this rvt ? wtf ? cant i get a new gasket??
yes, you do use both.
Thats what I am going to use, along with the Mag-Hytec covers when I change mine out. Keep in mind that the rear diff requires the Synthetic (red label) version, the front doesn't care (dino or syn)

The Lucas supposedly also has the LSD additive as well, so hopefully nothing else will be needed.

i think the info in that link is a little old. it shows most of the trucks still having a Dana axle.
also, for those of you who have never done this. here is a tutorial on how to do it. super easy. shouldnt take more than 30 min if you arent waiting on rtv to cure.

Not knocking your info, but for $1.87, I'm installing a gasket and the RTV like it states in the manual. Nothing like piece of mind.
