INTAKEHOSES.COM GUYS!! they're awsome!! F $300+ intakes!! made mine for only $80.. 1-45 elbow 1-3.5x3" sleeve and a 5" air ducting hose that i picked up at my local Agriculture supply store(plugs in on my fog light hole from the bumper to the front of my Spectre Intake) !!!

Got back from Lowes and started working on it with my friend.

Here is what we ended up with.

i did the same thing except i used the rubber connector like u have for the filter, for all the bends, just had to cut off the coupler on the bends and it fit like a glove n didint look like pvc just a thought

Hey no worries i just hope my intake turns out looking that good!!!! And that is a great idea with the rubber couplers!

What kind of paint did u use?

i used some header paint from advance, says it keeps headers cooler, kinda like header wrap...so i figured it could keep heat out?...old intake got so hot you couldnt touch it..it was also chrome aluminum crap...i still need to build a block off plate from the rest of the engine compartment...

use krylon fusion it bonds to plastic really effin good....and for those who dont wanna make a intake i know where you can get em for 70-100 for aluminum mopar knock offs....

Take that small filter off your oil filler tube and reconnnect it back to the intake. There is a good reason where is vacuum on that line.

LoL jay i was just going to search google to see if i could use the krylon stuff.... U damn mind reader!!!! Ill be using the Silver hammered finish since i still have some in my garage.

My final price for this came out to $80.00 not bad i say!! Now i can use my extra dough to buy a Superchips tuner!!!
