What happens here is i end up saving for mods, then i buy the mods and when i get them on i look at the gas gauge and its on empty and i have no money lol..... which is why i mowed lawns all day today and burned my *** off but it was worth it for a free fillup.

You better look again. The breather tube hooks to the lid of the factory air cleaner and it draws air in from the bottom so it is after the filter.
As long as you filter the valve cover tubing like he did, it is fine. You just need to filter the crankcase air being drawn in by the pcv valve.
